Tinsel Town

It’s that time of year once more

Tinsel hanging in the street

Wreaths hanging near and far

Pine needles all around

Where Children once believed

Now It’s that time of year again

Wreaths hanging in the streets

Tinsel hanging near and far

Snow falling on the ground

Parents rushing all around

looking for that last minute gift to be found.

Fires crackling in fireplaces all around town

The smell of homemade cookies fills the air

While children filled with excitement hurry off to bed

Hope filled wishes filling their heads

As they peer out their windows at the luminaries lining each road through town

Flickering outside each child’s window

Fresh snow falling on the window panes

Gusts of frost filled brisk breeze fill the air throughout each little town
