Hand picked
A child walks into a candy store
All joy
All smiles
This is his playground
Would be any child’s
The child paces to and from
Down each row
Grandpa awaiting the choice of the day
Knowing he says one
But it will easily be much more
Children rarely ever do agree
Snickers
Whatchamacallit
Almond joy
Mars bars
So many to choose from
Then grandpa suggests it was time to go
But the child says but there’s still more
The story of the candy store
