The Beach

Tip toes through the sand

Waves rushing my feet

Broken shells slamming my feet

While whole shells wash up the shore

A grain of sand so so small

Umbrellas up and down the beach

Lifeguards on watch

They can only save so far

Our real lifeguard in in Jesus

He is our salvation

As much as we love a beach

We don’t need saving by a lifeguard

For God is whom guides our very lives

Just ask him

Talk to him

Have a conversation like any other

He’s always guiding us

He is only an ear away

So next time you enjoy a beach

Enjoy peace in him

And his guidance on a beach
